- Thanks for this. If your a mac user, it's probably a lot easier to just drag and drop the files into the /usr/bin/ directory. Thats all the ADB-Install-Mac.sh is supposed to do anyway, however the script didn't execute properly for me. Dragging and dropping resolved the issue.

Download adbFire 2.01 for OS X 10.7 or greater
Installation
Double-click your download to open, then drag the adbFire folderor OS X app to a location where you have read/write privs. For Windowsusers this can usually be anywhere. Most Mac users can just drag the app toApplications folder within the dmg.

Windows: The download zip file contains the adbFire folder. Leave this folder and its contents intact, Don't move things out of the folder. You can break adbFire by moving or changing its contents.

Linux: The download zip file contains the adbFire folder. Put the adbFire folder wherever you have read/write privs. Don't separate the contents of the adbFire folder! The binary and the adbfiles folder must remain together.
OS X: The adbFire.app application contains all folders and files required internally.

All: If you are upgrading from adbFire 1.30 or greater you may copy the adbfire.dbdatabase file from your old release to the new release. This will allows youto upgrade without having to re-enter your data.
Mac Users: If you right-click on adbFire.app you can browse the contents of the bundle and drill down to the adbfiles utility folder. Your adbfire.db database is within. Copy and paste it into the updated copy of adbFire to preserve your database.
DATABASE COPY APPLIES TO adbFire 1.30 OR GREATER ONLY!
Otherwise, do not mix content from earlier releases with the new release. This includes all files,scripts, etc. If you do, you will break things.

All Users NOTE: Some AV programs are complaining the adbFire archive ishosting a virus. These are false positives. adbFire is not andnever has been a virus carrier. It seems they are complaining about towelrootbeing present in the archive. Towelroot is geohot's rooting exploit for FireTVs with firmware < 51.1.3.0. Towelroot is also not a virus carrier.
Mac Users NOTE: After downloading with Safari, programs in dmg archives can be marked as unrunnable due to a sandboxing error. The easy fix is to avoid downloading with Safari! Download with Chrome or Firefox only.

Update: The Safari 7.0.6 update may have fixed this problem. adbFire 1.04 was downloaded via Safari 7.0.6 (Mavericks) w/o issues.
